Description
CXCL2 is a member of the CXC chemokine family and is also known as GRO-beta (MIP2-alpha in mice). CXCR2 is secreted by monocytes and macrophages and is chemotactic for polymorphonuclear leukocytes and hematopoietic stem cells. CXCL2 exerts its effects through binding to the CXCR2 receptor.
