Aquaphile™ JC-1 is the widely used mitochondrial membrane potential dye JC-1, formulated for improved solubility in buffer or medium. It shows low dye aggregation compared to traditional JC-1 iodide or JC-1 chloride. Equivalent to 1.5 mM JC-1 in DMSO, 500X for 3 uM final concentration.
