Description	Centrifuge the vial before opening. Reconstitute to a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Avoid votex or vigorously pipetting the protein. For long term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein or stablizer (e.g. 0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS or 5% Trehalose), and aliquot the reconstituted protein solution to minimize free-thaw cycles.
Background	The protein is a type I membrane glycoprotein containing two extracellular immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane and a cytoplasmic domain. This gene is expressed by various cell types, including B cells, a subset of T cells, thymocytes, endothelial cells, and neurons. The encoded protein plays an important role in immunosuppression and regulation of anti-tumor activity. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.

Protein Description	Recombinant Human OX-2/CD200 Protein is produced by HEK293 expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Gln31-Gly232) of human CD200/OX-2 (Accession #NP_005935.4) fused with a 6×His tag at the C-terminus.
Protein Bio Activity	Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human CD200 at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Human CD200R with a linear range of 0.058-8.34 ng/mL.
