Bio Background	RSK3, a member of the S6 kinase subfamily of Ser/Thr protein kinases, phosphorylates a wide range of substrates including ribosomal protein S6. It is implicated in the activation of the mitogen-activated kinase cascade. This nuclear protein is expressed in many tissues, with highest expression in lung and skeletal muscle.
