ROBOSCREEN Diagnostics – Products for human diagnostics

The German company ROBOSCREEN GmbH was founded in 2000 and is based in Leipzig. The company's qualified team consists of scientists and technicians with high levels of expertise. The quality management of our partner for the development, production and distribution of molecular biological and immunochemical in vitro diagnostics is certified according to DIN EN ISO 13485.

The expertise of Roboscreen includes development of qPCR applications and generation of monoclonal antibodies. The latter are furthermore used for the production of immunochemical tests. Our partner particularly stands out in two areas of human diagnostics. Roboscreen specializes in the detection and quantification of viral pathogens, as well as in the multiparametric analysis of neurodegenerative diseases. The main focus is on molecular diagnostic quantifications of viral diseases such as HBV, and immunochemical determinations for neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD) using ELISA.

The RoboGene HCV RNA Quantitation Kit 3.0 has been developed for real-time PCR quantification of hepatitis C virus RNA in human EDTA or citrate plasma and serum samples. For amplification and detection, the RoboGene HCV RNA Quantification Kit 3.0 is validated on numerous real-time PCR devices. The assay is intended for the clinical treatment of patients with chronic HCV in conjunction with the clinical presentation and other laboratory markers of HCV infection. The test is designed to assess the viral response to antiviral treatment as measured by changes in plasma and serum HCV RNA levels. In addition, the likelihood of a persistent virus reaction can be assessed during the course of antiviral therapy.

The quantitative analysis of HCV RNA and HBC DNA can be carried out in parallel from the extraction to the qPCR step. Because it is the same workflow, you save time and resources. The RoboGene HCV RNA Quantitation Kit 3.0 and RoboGene HBV DNA Quantitation Kit 3.0 offer the same workflow from nucleic acid extraction to real-time PCR. They also have the same amplification protocol, so that both parameters can be quantified within one qPCR run.
