The company DRG International Inc. was founded in 1970, three years later the German subsidiary DRG Instruments GmbH was established. DRG Instruments specializes in the manufacture of diagnostics and medical devices. The extensive product portfolio is successfully distributed internationally.

DRG Instruments, headquartered in Marburg, develops and produces innovative ELISAs and chemical luminescence assays. The tests are suitable for routine use, but also for various research areas. These include diabetes diagnostics, gynecological endocrinology, prenatal / neonatal monitoring, tumor markers and many more.

Our partner works according to the standards EN ISO 13485: 2016, certified by TÜV Rheinland Product Safety. Particular attention is paid to customer service and quality control. All DRG products meet the requirements of Directive 98/79 / EC of October 27, 1998 on in vitro diagnostics, and the company also takes part in proficiency testing programs.

A milestone of DRG Instruments is the development of the world's first non-radioactive immunoassay for the determination of active renin and PLGF. A range of sensitive assays for the quantitative determination of steroids in saliva is also available. The DRG steroid ELISAs for determination in serum - such as 17-OH progesterone, DHEA, testosterone, progesterone and cortisol - have been among the world's best-selling non-radioactive immunoassays for years. Specially developed tumor marker assays and ELISAs in the field of infectious diseases complete the product portfolio.

For several years, DRG Instruments has established a thin-layer chromatography system for the detection of over 700 different drugs. The TOXI-LAB system is the perfect choice for a qualitative initial screening. The drug identification system detects active substances in urine, serum or stomach samples within one hour. The standardized procedure guarantees reproducible analyte-specific results.

At the end of 2008, the DRG began developing a closed system for the fully automatic processing of various simultaneous tests. The DRG: Hybrid.XL evaluates up to 20 sera and 40 tests simultaneously and supports you in the analysis for the simultaneous execution of immunoassays and clinical chemistry.
