Description: Quizartinib (formerly also know as AC-220; AC-010220, brand name Vanflyta in Japan) is a novel, potent, 2nd-generation, and orally bioavailable FLT3 tyrosine kinase inhibitor for Flt3 (ITD/WT) with potential anticancer activity. It inhibits FLT3 with IC50s of 1.1 nM/4.2 nM in MV4-11 and RS4; 11 cells, respectively. It exhibits 10-fold more selectivity for Flt3 over KIT, PDGFRalpha, PDGFRbeta, RET, and CSF-1R. Quizartinib isbeing developed by Daiichi Sankyo for the treatment of acute myeloid leukaemia.
