Biological Activity	Pyroxamide is a potent inhibitor of histone deacetylase 1 (HDAC1) with an ID₅₀ of 100 nM. Pyroxamide can induce apoptosis and cell cycle arrest in leukemia. IC50 & Target: ID50: 100 nM^[1] In Vitro: Pyroxamide (1.25-20.0 uM; 24-72 hours) suppresses RD and RH30B cells growth, pyroxamide resulted in 44% dead cells for 72 h at 20.0 uM, results in 86% dead cells in culture^[1]. Pyroxamide (10.0-20.0 uM; 48 hours) shows sub-G1 fractions of 45.0% and 72.3% at 10.0 and 20.0 uM, respectively^[1].
