Immunogen:	Synthetic peptide corresponding to the amino acids 93-107 of the native molecule conjugated to Keyhole limpet Haemocyanin (KLH).
Specificity Note:	This product is specific for Parathyroid hormone related peptide (PTHrP). PTHrP is involved in the formation of mammary glands and teeth and it regulates bone development. It shares the same N-terminal as Parathyroid hormone (PTH) which allows it to bind to Parathyroid Hormone Receptor 1 (PTHR1). This receptor is responsible for hypercalcemia which is an increase of calcium in the blood.
