Background |
nterleukin-22 (IL-22), also known as IL-10-related T cell-derived inducible factor (ILTIF), is a member of IL-10 superfamily. IL-22 is expressed by Th17 CD4+ T cells, activated T cells, Th1 cells and NK cells. IL-22 inhibits IL-4 production by Th2 cells, and induces the production of acute phase reactants. The IL-22 receptor is a heterodimer of IL-22R1 and IL-10R2. |
