Description	E. coli O157 is an E. coli clinical strain from coproculture provided as native lysate. It is suitable for use as a positive control in lateral flow (LF) assays and when spiked into stool samples.

Buffer	137 mM Sodium Chloride (NaCl), 2.7 mM Potassium Chloride (KCl), 10 mM Disodium Phosphate (Na₂HPO₄), 1.8 mM Dihydrogen Phosphate (H₂PO₄), pH 7.4 ± 0.2 and 0.09% Sodium Azide.

Purification	Provided as native lysate. Inactivated by binary ethylenimine and formaldehyde inactivation; confirmed by absence of colonies after 72 hours.
Storage	Store between 2-8 °C for up to 1 week. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
