Disease: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia Origin: Lymphoblast Species:Homo sapiens Tissue:Blood Morphology:Lymphoblast Properties:Suspension Cytogenic data:CCRF-CEM cells were derived from the peripheral blood buffy coat of a child (CEM) with acute lymphoblastic leukemia who had originally presented with lymphosarcoma Patient:Female, Caucasian, 4 yrs of age Medium:RPMI1640 + 10% FBS Subculture:Cultures can be maintained by the addition of fresh medium or replacement of medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 2 to 3 X 105 viable cells/ml. Maintain cell density between 1 to 2 X 106 viable cells/ml. Medium Renewal:Add fresh medium (20% to 30% by volume) every 2 to 3 days. Freezing Medium:Complete culture medium supplemented with 5% (v/v) DMSO Biosafety Level: I Sterility: Bacteria: Negative Yeast: Negative Mycoplasma: Negative Pathogens: HIV: Negative Hepatitis B: Negative Hepatitis C: Negative Isoenzymes: ADA, 1; ES-D, 1; G6PD, B ; GLO-I, 1; PEP-D, 1; PGD, C; PGM1, 1 ; PGM3, 0 DNA Profile (STR): Amelogenin: X ; CSF1PO: 10, 11; D13S317: 11, 12; D16S539: 10, 13; D5S818: 12, 13; D7S820: 9, 13; THO1: 6, 7; TPOX: 8; vWA: 17, 19 Related cells by Organ: CCRF-CEM K562 LP-1 MOLM-13 RPMI-8226 U937 RAW 264.7 |
