Description	Chromatographically prepared from the euglobin fraction of pancreas by the method of Lewis, U.J. et al. (1956) J. Biol. Chem. 22:705 then twice crystallized.
Formulation	Lyophilized from a salt free buffer.
Molecular Weight	25.7 kDa
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute with 0.05 M Na Acetate 0.2 M NaCl, pH 5.0 to 1 mg/ml or desired concentration, aliquot and freeze remaining portion.
Storage and Stability	Stable for 9-12 months at 2-8C and does not contain trypsin or chrymotrypsin. Store reconstituted protein in working aliquots at -80C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity	2.0 U/mg (One unit will hydrolyze 1 umole of Suc-Ala-Ala-Ala-pNA per minute at pH 8.8 and 37C)
