Formulation
The protein (1 mg/ml) was lyophilized from a 1 mg/ml solution containing 10 mM sodium phosphate, pH 7.5, + 6 M urea + 2 mM DTT + 1 mM EDTA + 10 mM methylammonium chloride.

Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the Bovine Vimentin in sterile distilled water at not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized Bovine Vimentin should be stored desiccated below -20C. Upon reconstitution Bovine Vimentin may be stored at 2-4C for 7 days and for future use, freeze below -20C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
