Formulation	50 ul undiluted, freeze-dried antiserum. Dissolve the antiserum in 50-100 uL distilled water, and dilute further in 0.1M PBS with 1% BSA and 0.1% NaN3.
Immunogen	Synthetic peptide from the C-terminal of the capsaicin receptor conjugated to BSA. Works on rat tissues.
Specificity	Positive control: Frozen sections of spinal cord from rat. Absorption with 10-100 ug immunogen per ml diluted antiserum abolishes the staining.
