Description	A BALB/c mouse was immunized with a B-cell line derived from a Burkitt lymphoma. Splenocytes were fused with mouse myeloma NS1 cells.
Storage and Stability	Store antibody at 2-8 oC. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity	1.3.3.22 reacts with human CD81 (TAPA-1), a 24 kD member of the TM4 superfamily of proteins with four transmembrane domains. Mab to CD81 have been shown to have anti-proliverative effects on different lymphoid cell lines, particularly those derived from large cell lymphomas. The mAb was clustered at the VI WLDA.
