Background
p65 is a subunit of the nuclear factor kappa B. The transcription factor NFkB is widely recognized as a critical mediator of immune and inflammatory responses. In most cell types, NFkB is found in the cytoplasm where it is associated with an inhibitory prd in many tissues. A high proportion of spontaneous NIH/3T3 transformants overexpress c-Met and by transfection analysis the c-Met proto-oncogene has been shown to exhibittransforming activity.
Product
1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2.
Purification and Purity
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage and Stability
Store at 4C short term. Aliquot and store at -20C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity
p-NFkappaB-p65 (S276) pAb detects endogenous levels of NFkappaB-p65 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser276.
WB
Western blot (WB) analysis of p-NFkB-p65 (S276) pAb at 1:500 dilution
Lane1:Hela cell lysate treated with TNFa
Lane2:Mouse kidney tissue lysate
Lane3:PC12 cell lysate treated with UV
IHC
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) analyzes of p-NFkB-65 (S468) pAb in paraffin-embedded human breast carcinoma tissue at 1:100.
