Store at 4°C in the dark. Under these conditions, the antibodies should have a shelf life of at least twelve months, provided they remain sterile. For longer term storage, aliquot and freeze to avoid freeze-thaw of the antibody.

Overnight Priority

Anti-MYC Epitope Tag. Chickens were immunized with a synthetic peptide containing the human c-myc epitope tag - EQKLISEEDL - conjugated to keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH). The sequence of this peptide corresponds to residues #425-434 of the human c-myc proto-oncogene protein (NCBI NP_002458.2). After repeated injections, immune eggs were collected from the hens, and the IgY fractions were purified from the yolks. These IgY fractions were then affinity-purified using an agarose matrix to which the cognate peptide was attached. Eluates of this column were dialyzed against PBS, had their concentrations adjusted to 100 ug/ml, and then filter-sterilized.

This product is an unlabeled, affinity-purified chicken anti-C-MYC epitope antibody.
