Product Info	Anti-DYKDDDDK Epitope Tag. Chickens were immunized with a synthetic peptide containing the DYKDDDDK sequence conjugated to keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH). The sequence of this peptide corresponds to the FLAG®, epitope tag. After repeated injections, immune eggs were collected from the hens, and the IgY fractions were purified from the yolks. These IgY fractions were then affinity purified using an agarose matrix to which the cognate peptide was attached. Eluates of this column were dialyzed against PBS, had their concentrations adjusted to 100 ug/ml, and then filter-sterilized.
Quality Control	Antibodies were analyzed using ELISA and western blots using an N-terminal DYKDDDDK-tagged protein. Secondary antibodies used in these quality control assays was an HRP-labeled (1:5000 dilution) goat anti-chicken IgY antibodies (Aves Labs).
