Preparation	Produced from sera of rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure recombinant Human β -NGF. Anti-Human β -NGF specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing immobilized Human β -NGF matrix.
WesternBlot	To detect Human β -NGF by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 µ g/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant Human β -NGF is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Sandwich	To detect Human β -NGF by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μ l/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μ g/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with BioGems' Biotinylated Anti-Human β -NGF (60-247BT) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant Human β -NGF.
Immunohistochemistry	This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of human pancreas adenocarcinoma. The recommended concentration is 0.5 mg/ml with an overnight incubation at 4°C. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a DAB chromogen. Optimal results were achieved without antigen retrieval. Optimal concentrations and conditions may vary.
Neutralization	To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND₅₀] of the biological activity of Human β -NGF (1 ng/ml), a concentration of 0.05-0.08 µ g/ml of this antibody is required.
Formulation	A sterile filtered antibody solution was lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.2.
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml.
