Background	HOMER1 (Homer Scaffolding Protein 1) is a Protein Coding gene. Among its related pathways are FoxO signaling pathway and Circadian entrainment. GO annotations related to HOMER1 include identical protein binding and receptor binding. An important paralog of HOMER1 is HOMER2. HOMER1 encodes a member of the homer family of dendritic proteins. Members of this family regulate group 1 metabotrophic glutamate receptor function.
