Description	CCL4 (MIP-1beta) is a mitogen-inducible monokine and member of the CC chemokine family. It is a secreted protein that plays a role in the acute inflammatory response and is a chemoattractant for monocytes, neutrophils, eosinophils, NK cells, and CD4+ T lymphocytes. MIP-1 beta can signal through CCR5 and, by inducing downregulation of this receptor, can block HIV-1 infection of T cells.
