Background |
HLA-A, B, and C are transmembrane glycoproteins in the major histocompatibility complex 1 (MHC I) family. The C receptor is a heterodimer consisting of a HLA-C mature gene product (heavy chain) and β2-microglobulin (light chain). The mature C chain is anchored in the membrane. HLA class I molecules play a central role in the immune system by presenting peptides derived from endoplasmic reticulum lumen. Biotinylated Human HLA-C*07:02:01&B2M&RYR (RYRPGTVAL) Complex Protein is produced by co-expression of HLA and B2M loaded with RYR peptide. This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag™). The protein has a calculated MW of 36.1 kDa and 13.8 kDa. The protein migrates as 42-45 kDa and 14 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation. |
