This Creatine Kinase Activity Assay Kit is a quantitative assay kit for measuring Creatine Kinase activity in animal tissues, cells, and serum.

This kit provides a simple, convenient and rapid creatine kinase (CK) activity detection method, which is suitable for the detection in animal tissues, cells, serum and other samples. The principle is that CK catalyzes the reaction of creatine phosphate and ADP to generate creatine and ATP. Hexokinase catalyzes the reaction of ATP and glucose to form 6-phosphate glucose; 6-phosphate glucose dehydrogenase catalyzes the reaction of 6-phosphate glucose and NADP+ to generate NADPH, producing a characteristic absorption peak at 340 nm. The rate of NADPH increase at 340 nm reflects CK activity.
