Guangdong Hecin Scientific, Inc (Hecin) is located at the production, training and research site of the State Key Laboratory of Respiratory Diseases. As a member of the research team led by academician Zhong Nanshan, the company, founded in 2015, focuses on the research, production and commercialisation of diagnostic products for respiratory infections. Hecin has over 600 virus strains, making it the largest resource database for respiratory viruses in China, and offers comprehensive, cross-platform diagnostic methods. In addition, its portfolio includes PCR consumables, PCR references for virus detection, nucleic acid test reagents and fluorescence immunochromatography products.
