Background	Parathyroid Hormone-Related protein (PTHRP) is a member of the parathyroid hormone family. PTHRP is known as a potent inhibitor of chondrocyte maturation. PTHRP is a critical regulator of cellular & organ growth, development, migration, differentiation & survival & of epithelial calcium ion transport. PTHRP also regulates epithelial-mesenchymal interactions during the formation of the mammary glands. During endochondral bone development, PTHRP plays a major role in suppressing the onset of hypertrophic differentiation. Defects in PTHRP are the cause of Brachydactyly Type E2.
Description	Recombinant Human Parathyroid Hormone-Related Protein is produced by our E.coli expression system & the target gene encoding Ala37-Arg175 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus.
Endotoxin	Less than 0.1 ng/ug (1 IEU/ug) as determined by LAL test.
Formulation	Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 20mM PB, 150mM NaCl, pH7.4.

Reconstitution	Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in ddH2O. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

Storage	Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7C for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20C for 3 months.
