Description	MMAB Recombinant Human produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 239 amino acids (33-250 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 26.3 kDa. The MMAB is fused to 21 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Storage/Stability	MMAB Human although stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored below -18°C. Please prevent freeze thaw cycles.
Purity	Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Form	MMAB 1mg/ml protein solution contains 20mM Tris pH-7.5 & 10% glycerol.
Protein Background	MMAB protein catalyzes the last step in the conversion of vitamin B(12) into adenosylcobalamin (AdoCbl), a vitamin B12 containing coenzyme for methylmalonyl-CoA mutase(MCM). Decreased MMAB activity leads to the inherited disorder vitamin B12 dependent methylmalonic aciduria linked to the cblB complementation group.
