InvivoChem Cat #:V12158CAS #:304-21-2Purity >=98%Description: Harmaline is a naturally occuring, beta-carboline/fluorescent indole alkaloid extracted from seeds of PEGANUM.It is a psychoactive indole with stimulating activities achieved, in part, through inhibition of monoamine oxidases. Harmaline induces tremor in mice through the N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor, at which harmaline may act as an inverse agonist.
