enoxolone

Description: Enoxolone (Glycyrrhetin; NSC 35347; Enoxolone; Glycyrrhetic acid; BRN-2229654; NSC-35347) is a novel, potent, pentacyclic triterpenoid derivative of the beta-amyrin type with potential liver-protecting effects. It was obtained from the hydrolysis of glycyrrhizic acid, which can be extracted from the herb liquorice.
