Description	InvivoChem Cat #:V0414CAS #:1260907-17-2Purity >=98% Description: Molibresib (also known as GSK525762A, I-BET-762, GSK-525762) is a novel and potent inhibitor for BET (Bromodomain and Extra-Terminal) family of proteins with potential anti-inflammatory and anticancer activity. It inhibits BET with IC50 of ca.35 nM in a cell-free assay. It suppresses the production of proinflammatory proteins by macrophages and blocks acute inflammation, and is highly selective over other bromodomain-containing proteins. GSK525762 binds to the acetylated lysine recognition motifs on the bromodomain of BET proteins, thereby preventing the interaction between the BET proteins and acetylated histone peptides.
