Genway ID:
GWB-7A4D8E
Isotype:
IgG2b
Clone:
LT3Host Animal: Mouse. Hybridization of X63. 653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Immunogen:
Normal human thymocytes
Specificity:
LT3 reacts with CD3 antigen (MW 26/20/16kDa). CD3 is present on 70% of normal peripheral blood lymphocytes and 60% of thymocytes. This antigen is found on the majority of human T cells.
Type of Product:
Monoclonal Antibodies to Human CDs
Concentration:
2. 6mg/ml (OD280nm E0. 1% = 1. 4)Preservatives: NaN3
Buffer:
PBS pH 7. 4. Applications Notes : May be used to enumerate T cells in peripheral blood and tissue. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
Warning:
This product contains sodium azide which has been classified as Xn (Harmful) in European Directive 67/548/EEC in the concentration range of 0. 1â ??1. 0%. When disposing of this reagent through lead or copper plumbing flush with copious volumes of water to prevent azide build-up in drains. MAb to CD3. Monoclonal Antibody to CD3
Function:
The CD3 complex mediates signal transduction.
Subunit:
The TCR/CD3 complex of T-lymphocytes consists of either a TCR alpha/beta or TCR gamma/delta heterodimer coexpressed at the cell surface with the invariant subunits of CD3 labeled gamma delta epsilon zeta and eta.
Subcellular Location:
Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein.
Disease:
Defects in CD3D are a cause of severe combined immunodeficiency autosomal recessive T-cell-negative/B-cell-positive/NK-cell-positive (SCIDBNK) [MIM:608971]. SCID refers to a genetically and clinically heterogeneous group of rare congenital disorders characterized by impairment of both humoral and cell-mediated immunity leukopenia and low or absent antibody levels. Patients with SCID present in infancy with recurrent persistent infections by opportunistic organisms. The common characteristic of all types of SCID is absence of T-cell-mediated cellular immunity due to a defect in T-cell development.
Similarity:
Contains 1 ITAM domain.
