This antiserum does not cross-react with neurokinin B neuropeptide Y vasoactive intestinal peptide calcitonin gene related peptide (CGRP) or somatostatin.

Application Note:	For WB: Use at a dilution of 1:500-1:1000. For IHC-Fr: Use at a dilution of 1:50-1:200. For IHC-P: Use at a dilution of 1:501:200. Prolonged fixation in buffered formalin can destroy the epitope. The optimum conditions should be determined by the individual laboratory.
Function:	Tachykinins are active peptides which excite neurons evoke behavioral responses are potent vasodilators and secretagogues and contract (directly or indirectly) many smooth muscles.
