Detects a band of approximately 61 kDa. Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. Luciferase is a luminescent enzyme mostly known for its role as a reporter protein.
Function:	Produces green light with a wavelength of 562 nm.
Catalytic Activity:	Photinus luciferin + O2 + ATP = oxidized Photinus luciferin + CO2 + AMP + diphosphate + light. Cofactor: Magnesium.
Subcellular Location:	Peroxisome.
Similarity:	Belongs to the ATP-dependent AMP-binding enzyme family.
