Description	The V5 epitope tag (GKPIPNPLLGLDST) is derived from a small epitope which presents on the P and V proteins of the paramyxovirus of simian virus 5 (SV5). V5 Tag Antibody is a useful tool in detection of recombinant proteins containing the V5 epitope. THE™ V5 Tag Antibody, mAb, Mouse, is produced from the hybridoma resulting from fusion of SP2/0-Ag14 myeloma and B-lymphocytes obtained from mouse immunized with V5 tag peptide conjugated to KLH.

Reconstitution	Reconstitute the lyophilized product with deionized water (or equivalent) to make antibody concentration of 0.5 mg/ml.
Storage	The antibody is stable in lyophilized form if stored at -20C or below. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for 2-3 weeks at 2-8C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C or below. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
