Storage Conditions	This lyophilized preparation is stable at 2-4C, but should be kept desiccated at -20C for long term storage. Upon reconstitution, the preparation is stable for up to one week at 2-4C. For maximal stability, apportion the reconstituted preparation into working aliquots and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Description	Angiostatin K1-3 is a ca.30 kDa fragment of plasminogen that has been shown to act as a potent inhibitor of angiogenesis and tumor growth, in vitro, and, in vivo .
Formulation	Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered concentrated solution in 20 mM NaAc, pH5.5 + 4% mannitol.
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Add sterile distilled water or aqueous buffer to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.
Biological Activity	Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The specific activity determined by an assay on anti-proliferation and anti-migration using endothelial cells, in vitro, and anti-angiogenesis, in vivo, is 5.5 x 10E5 IU/mg.
Endotoxin Level	Less than 1EU/ug of rHuAngiostatin K1-3 as determined by LAL method.
