Description	AMN Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 361 amino acids (20-357 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 38.2kDa. AMN is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Protein function	Necessary for efficient absorption of vitamin B12 (PubMed:12590260, PubMed:14576052). Required for normal CUBN- mediated protein transport in the kidney. May direct the production of trunk mesoderm during development by modulating a bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signaling pathway in the underlying visceral endoderm (By similarity).
