Purification	The antibody was purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using phospho peptide. The antibody against non-phospho peptide was removed by chromatography using corresponding non-phospho peptide.
Storage	Store at -20°C for one year. For short-term storage and frequent use, store at 4°C for up to one month. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Protein Function	Protein kinase involved in the transduction of mitogenic signals from the cell membrane to the nucleus. May play a role in the postsynaptic responses of hippocampal neuron. Phosphorylates MAP2K1, and thereby contributes to the MAP kinase signal transduction pathway.
Subcellular Localization	Nucleus. Cytoplasm. Cell membrane. Colocalizes with RGS14 and RAF1 in both the cytoplasm and membranes.
Tissue Specificity	Brain and testis.
