Background	Pyrophosphatase that hydrolyzes the non-canonical purine nucleotides inosine triphosphate (ITP), deoxyinosine triphosphate (dITP) as well as 2'-deoxy-N-6-hydroxylaminopurine triposphate (dHAPTP) and xanthosine 5'-triphosphate (XTP) to their respective monophosphate derivatives. The enzyme does not distinguish between the deoxy- and ribose forms. Probably excludes non-canonical purines from RNA and DNA precursor pools, thus preventing their incorporation into RNA and DNA and avoiding chromosomal lesions.
Product	1mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide, 50% Glycerol.
Purification and Purity	The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage and Stability	Store at 4C short term. Aliquot and store at -20C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity	ITPA pAb detects endogenous levels of ITPA protein.
WB	WesternBlot (WB) analysis of ITPA pAb in extracts from mouse liver tissue and Hela, K562 cells.
