Specificity

Goat Anti-Human IgG Fc (Gamma)Fragment specific recognizes the Fc portion of human IgG heavy chain but do not with the F(ab) portion of human IgG. No antibody was detected against human IgM or IgA, or against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. This secondary antibody was purified using antigen affinity chromatography and adsorbed against serum proteins and immunoglobulins to minimize species cross-reactivity.
