Description
Description Proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA) was originally identified by immunofluorescenceas a nuclear protein whose appearance correlated with the proliferative state of the cell.PCNA/cyclin has been localized by in situ hybridization to the short arm of human chromosome 20 with a peak of grains over band 20p13. PCNA gene is present in single copy and has 6 exons. It spans 4, 961 bp. Synthesis of the nuclear protein cyclin andDNA in quiescent mouse fibroblasts is coordinately induced by serum and purified growthfactors. PCNA controls establishment of sister chromatid cohesion during S phase. Catalog Number IW-MA1083 Quantity 9 ml Host Mouse Clone IML-83 Isotype Mouse IgG2a Immunogen Protein A fusion protein. Purity Purified by the goat anti-mouse IgG affinity chromatography Conjugate Unconjugated Species Reactivity Human, mouse, rat. Not tested in other species. Positive Control Skin, Hela cells Cellular Localization Nuclear Form Ready to use solution in PBS with stabilizer and 0.01% sodium azide. No further dilution needed. Serum blocking step should be omitted. Storage Store at 2-8 CC. Do not freeze. Applications IHC-P: Heat induced epitope retrieval is required on formalin fixed paraffin embedded sections. IHC-Tek Epitope Retrieval Solution (IW-1100) is recommended. IHC-Fr: Formalin fixed or acetone fixed frozen tissues. ICC: Suitable. Limitations This product is intended for Research Use Only. Interpretation of the test results is solely the responsibility of the user. Precautions Users should follow general laboratory precautions when handling this product. Wear personal protective equipment to avoid contact with skin and eyes. References 1. Bravo, R. : Synthesis of the nuclear protein cyclin (PCNA) and its relationship with DNA replication. Exp.
