Physical Appearance and Stability: Lyophilized IL34 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution Interleukin 34 should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity: The IL34 was lyophilized from a solution containing 20mM Sodium Citrate, pH 3.0 and 75mM NaCl. Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Interleukin-34 in sterile 18M-cm H2O containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant HSA.
Biological Activity: The specific activity was measured by its ability to induce secretion of MCP-1 from PBMCs.
