Physical Appearance and Stability: Lyophilized IFN-Lambda 2 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution IFN-Lambda 2 Recombinant should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity: The Mouse IL-28A is lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered concentrated solution in PBS, pH 7.4 and 5% trehalose. Greater than 95% as determined by:(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Application:
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized IL-28A in sterile 18MO-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity: The ED50 as determined by an anti-viral assay using human HepG2 cells infected with encephalomyocarditis(EMC) virus is less than 3 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of > 3.3 x 105 IU/mg.
