The family of at least seven transmembrane G protein coupled receptors includes at least four receptor subtypes (PAR1, PAR2, PAR3, PAR4). PAR4 activating peptides, GYPGKF-NH2 and AYPGKG-NH2, produce concentration dependent contractile effects on the muscle. |
